Army demonstrates watercraft capabilities at joint disaster-relief exercise in Tokyo

A U.S. Army Landing Craft Utility 2020 vessel transfers 25 people participating as evacuees to Yokohama North Dock during a Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief Exercise held Feb. 3, 2012, and organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The large-scale joint exercise involved participation from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army Japan, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, and the Japan Coast Guard. Approximately 10,000 people took part in the drill.
