European garrisons protecting Army communities with virtual training

Members of the U.S. Army Garrison Grafenwoehr, Germany, coordinate information while reviewing the latest scenario developments during force protection exercise, which took place for the first time in its history in a virtual world. The all-day event was held Dec. 2, 2011, at the Joint Multinational Training Command's Simulation Center at Camp Aachen took place in a digital replica of the USAG Grafenwoehr Main post. The exercise is implemented once a year to test the reactions and responses of first-responders, as well as the local garrison command structure.
