HON Dr. Westphal visits Fort Benning and the Maneuver Center of Excellence

Under Secretary of the Army, HON Dr. Joseph W. Westphal (left) receives a tour of the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center by Lt. Gen. (Ret) Carmen Cavezza (right), National Infantry Foundation Board Chairman and Colonel (Ret) Greg Camp (not pictured), National Infantry Foundation Executive Vice President. The National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center has a collection of more than 70,000 artifacts from more than 236 years of American military history. The museum's primary focus is educating the American public on the role of the Infantryman in securing the freedoms we all enjoy. The Under Secretary of the Army visited Fort Benning to gain situational awareness and ensure the Army is correctly prioritizing, balancing and integrating resources to support the mission of this vital installation.
