American, Ghanaian veterinarians support livestock herders

Dr. Elliot Francis Kwaku, a veterinarian from Ghana’s 37th Military Hospital, and Maj. Katherine Knacke, the veterinarian officer-in-charge for the U.S. Army National Guard’s 949th Veterinary Company, treat a pickup bed full of sheep for worms and mouth sores July 19 while working at a humanitarian civic assistance site in Doryumu, Ghana, as part of MEDFLAG 11.
