Corps engineers talk jobs at Tau Beta Pi clean tech mixer
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District civil engineer Roger Henderson shares advice on job opportunities with the Corps with a student from California State University - Sacramento at a clean tech networking mixer hosted by the college's Upsilon Chapter of engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi here April 11, 2011. Henderson, who has been with the Corps since 1988, also reflected on his experiences as a Tau Beta Pi member, a distinction he received as a graduate engineering student at Oregon State. "I still have my bent they gave me at college," he said, referring to the load-bearing part of a bridge, a symbol representing Tau Beta Pi's principles of integrity and excellence in engineering.
