Pfc. Patrick W. Muir, Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 4th Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, based at Camp Hovey, South Korea, drinks water from a tree vine during a four-mile hike as part of jungle survival training April 6, at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines. U.S. Marines and Soldiers trained on survival skills, including catching and cooking wildlife, with their Filipino counterparts as part of Balikatan 2011. Balikatan, which means "shoulder-to-shoulder" in Tagalog, is an annual joint exercise between the armed forces of the U.S. and the Republic of the Philippines.
