PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. - Seaman Samuel Oliver carries the clubs of musician Kenny G during the 3M Celebrity Challenge at Pebble Beach golf course. Oliver was one of five lucky sailors from the nearby Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Monterey who acted as caddie for Kenny G after the being approached by the musician prior to the event. Feb. 9 was Military Day at the weeklong AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am which pairs professional golfers with celebrities and amateurs. The five-hole celebrity challenge is a popular portion of the tournament that benefits local charities.
