Maj. Manuel Sam Wong, a strategic intelligence officer, works with one of his Japanese counterparts Jan. 26, at Camp Kengun, Japan, during the start of Yama Sakura 59, an annual joint U.S. and Japanese training exercise intended to uphold relations between the two allied countries. Wong not only brought with him his military and technical expertise, but an authentic Elvis costume and wig to entertain U.S. and Japanese Soldiers when his free time allows. Wong is assigned to I Corps at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.
