Iraq Infantry School conducts mortar live-fire at BCTC

BAGHDAD - An Iraqi Army infantry Soldier prepares to fire an 81mm mortar during a live-fire exercise at the Besmaya Combat Training Center in late November. Infantry Soldiers from the Iraqi Army's 1st, 11th and 17th divisions fired high-explosive anti-tank and white phosphorous smoke rounds as part of the culminating exercise to a 21-day Basic 81mm Mortar Course.
