The flag of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (Airborne) flew proudly as family and friends of Staff Sgt. Robert Miller, along with local and state politicians, and fellow team mates from the Special Forces Command (Airborne) gathered together to remember one of their own. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor on Oct. 6, 2010, for heroism and valor in combat while serving in Afghanistan three years ago. The event marks the three year anniversary of his death.
