Students and faculty of the Prosperity-Rikard Elementary school in Prosperity, S.C. enjoy several selections of patriotic music by the 208th Army Reserve band during a Nov. 11 Veterans Day performance. Chief Warrant Officer 3 Timothy Lyden (far right) is the band's director, but in his civilian job he is the school's principal. The 208th band falls under the control of the 81st Regional Support Command at Fort Jackson, SC. The 81st RSC provides base operations (BASOPS) support and other services as directed by HQs, U.S. Army Reserve Command to customers in nine southeastern states and Puerto Rico, to enable the Army Reserve to meet global requirements across the full spectrum of operations.
