FORT MCPHERSON, Ga. (Nov. 10, 2010)--Maj. Gen. (P) Howard B. Bromberg, special assistant to the FORSCOM commanding general, presented the Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certificate to Steven D. Sawicki, deputy director of FORSCOM's Continuous Process Improvement office. Sawicki is one of 43 Army personnel to earn the master black belt status. The courses offered during the Army's Lean Six Sigma training program consist of a series of workshops designed to certify participants at different levels of learning. Green Belt, Black Belt, and Master Black Belt workshops last about two to four weeks, and provide participants with the knowledge needed to complete Lean Six Sigma projects.
