Sgt. Brian Thompson of Bismarck, N.D. teaches members of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo how to evaluate a casualty. Thompson, a member of the 814th Army Medical Support Company based in Bismarck, is in the DRC as part of MEDFLAG 10 a joint military training exercise between the U.S. military and FARDC soldiers to enhance emergency response capabilities in the region.
