FORT MCPHERSON, Ga. (July 29, 2010)--U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6 William “Bill” T. Lasher is presented the Senior Executive Service (SES) flag by Master Sgt. Korey Carter. FORSCOM G-6 Sgt. Maj. Fabian Bradshaw assists Lasher in unfurling the SES flag during an appointment ceremony Thursday, at FORSCOM Headquarters. The SES flag was designed to provide increased visibility to SES members and recognize them as leaders along with General Officers of the United States Army. The flag was approved 1 May 1998 as a positional flag. The designation band on the keystone is patterned from the Army emblem and identifies the member as part of the United States Army. The white background was selected as it is the primary color used by the Army for positional flags. Dark blue is the color used on the Presidential Flag.
