U.S. Forces Command Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year Competition

JOINT BASE LEWIS-McCHORD (July 30, 2010) – Sgt. James Kimball, an explosive ordnance disposal specialist with 49th Ordnance Company Explosive Ordnance Disposal who is representing U.S. Army North during the U.S. Forces Command Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year Competition, fires at a target during the M4 carbine qualifications event at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, July 28. The four-day competition pits eight Soldiers and eight NCOs against one another in order to determine the best of the best from active-duty, National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers under U.S. Forces Command.
