FORT A.P. HILL, Va. -- U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert Nolan, Joint Task Force-National Scout Jamboree commander, greets military personnel supporting the Boy Scouts of America’s 2010 National Scout Jamboree July 25. Active duty, reserve and National Guard service members from all five branches of the armed forces will provide support for the Jamboree, which runs from July 26 through Aug. 4. The JTF’s goal is to provide professional military support and a safe and a secure environment for Scouts and leaders during the event. The Department of Defense’s presence and effort at the NSJ emphasizes the commitment to the nation’s youth.
