FORT BRAGG, N.C. - Spc. Joel Hughes, a Soldier with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company of the 350th Civil Affairs Command in Pensacola, Fla., maintains his balance as maneuvers through the "weaver" obstacle here on June 15, as part of the competition for this year's U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne) Best Warrior selection. Hughes and 13 other Soldiers and noncommissioned officers from across the nation are competing to take home this year's Best Warrior of the Year Soldier, or NCO category. USACAPOC(A) is five percent of the U.S. Army Reserve Command's force and is responsible for approximately 20 percent of the Army Reserve deployments. The command is comprised of nearly 10,000 Soldiers in 67 units across 27 states and Puerto Rico.
