Sea To Shining Sea

Brig. Gen. Arnold Gordon-Bray, the U.S. cadet command deputy commanding general and Sgt. 1st Class Mary Kay Messenger who is assigned to the United States Military Academy band, participated in the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Sea to Shining Sea Bike Ride. Gordon-Bray rode the first stage of the event, and Messenger sang the National Anthem. The multi-service bicycle ride is sponsored by World T.E.A.M. Sports-a non-profit group, whose purpose is to raise awareness of wounded warriors. The ride is scheduled to end July 24 in Virginia Beach, Va.
