The Equal Opportunity (EO) Program Office is responsible for the development, direction, administration, and monitoring of the 3d U.S. Infantry The Old Guards EO Program policies, plans, and initiatives, including overall evaluation and assessment, and implementation of the Headquarters, Department of Defense 1350.3(Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).

The office also serve as liaison between The Old Guard Subordinate Commands. To disseminate information or resolve EO related issues and carries out specific EO responsibilities in accordance with Army Regulation 600-20.

Mission: Ensure the Equal Opportunity program formulate, direct and sustain a comprehensive effort to maximize human potential and to ensure fair treatment for all personnel assigned to the 3d U.S. Infantry The Old Guard; to practice a work environment free from unlawful discrimination, and Sexual Harassment.
