Idaho Guard and Reserve Family Support Fund

The Idaho Guard and Reserve Family Support Fund assists Idaho Guard and Reserve Service Members and their Families in times of emergencies. The Fund is closely affiliated with the Idaho Military Division.

Idaho Operation Military Kids

Idaho's Operation Military Kids program encourages community partnerships to offer support, training and recognition for military children of deployed Guard and Reserve personnel. Activities teach youth targeted life skills to community members about the unique stresses and challenges that Guard and Reserve Families face. Military Spouse Residency Relief Act

On November 11, 2009, the President signed into law the Military Spouse Residency Relief Act. This Act, among other things, provides that when a service member leaves his or her home State in accord with military or naval orders, the service member's spouse may retain residency in his or her home State for voting and tax purposes, after relocating from that State to accompany the service member. In the State of Idaho an exemption from Idaho withholding tax may be claimed if an employees spouse is a member of the US Armed Services and their state of legal residence is not Idaho. University of Idaho Operation Education Scholarship

The University of Idaho Operation Education Scholarship is designed to financially assist severely injured U.S. military personnel and/or their spouses with continuing education that ultimately can lead to new life and career opportunities. For more information, visitwww.uidaho.edu.
