Florida State Parks Reduced or Free Admission

Floridas state parks provide discounts on or free annual entrance passes to those who currently serve or have served in the U.S. military, veterans with service-related disabilities and surviving spouses of fallen combat service members. www.floridastateparks.org

Financial Support

Several Florida counties have established Active Military Combat Duty Grant Programs which are designed to assist service members (Active Duty, Reserves and National Guard), who are fighting in the Global War on Terrorism with financial support to their families and foreclosure protection. Habitat for Humanity

West Orange Habitat for Humanity established Home At Last, a program to honor Iraq and Afghanistan War Veterans, to build homes for disabled Veterans and their families. Home at Last is committed to making a difference in the lives of veterans and their families and show appreciation to service members. www.westorangehabitat.org/

Project CARE

Project CARE (Community Action Readiness Effort) is a collaborative outreach and assistance program for spouses and family members of deployed service members.
