Anniston Army Depot Prayer Breakfast held
Chaplain James Wilson of Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center shares a message on the Power of Prayer during Anniston Army Depot's Prayer Breakfast March 7 at the DeSoto Pastime Center.

ANNISTON ARMY DEPOT, Ala. -- Anniston Army Depot's March 7 Prayer Breakfast was filled with personal stories and discussion on the power of prayer.

The event began with an invocation by Eric McClellan and Willie Simmons' gift of song, "Bless Me" by Donald Lawrence, which he stated was his "prayer for all of you."

James Wilson, guest speaker for the event and the chaplain for Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, said prayer requires a few things to be effective - connection, communication and conversation.

"We don't want to just plug in and turn on," said Wilson. "We need to have ideas going back and forth for an extended period of time."

TACOM Life Cycle Management Command Chaplain Lt. Col. Stephen DeMien was present for the event and thanked ANAD's Ministry Team for the assistance they provide their coworkers.
