CASCOM welcomes new senior warrant officer
The Combined Arms Support Command welcomed Chief Warrant Officer 5 Randy W. Johnson as the new senior warrant officer during a Feb. 19 ceremony. Johnson comes to the command from Fort Knox, Ky., where he served as the warrant officer branch chief for Force Sustainment Division, Human Resources Command.

FORT LEE, Va. - The Combined Arms Support Command welcomed Chief Warrant Officer 5 Randy W. Johnson as the new senior warrant officer during a Feb. 19 ceremony. Johnson comes to the command from Fort Knox, Ky., where he served as the warrant officer branch chief for Force Sustainment Division, Human Resources Command.

The senior warrant officer advises the commanding general on all matters pertaining to and related to issues, training and leader development of sustainment warrant officers.

"One look at Chief Johnson's bio will tell you he has all the right credentials to assume this position and continue to move this command forward," said Maj. Gen. Larry D. Wyche, CASCOM and Fort Lee commanding general. "He is the right person at the right time to be the 'Home of Sustainment's' senior warrant officer."

Johnson's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star (2nd award); Meritorious Service Medal (7th award); Army Commendation Medal (3rd award); Army Achievement Medal (10th award); Kosovo Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, NATO Medal and various other awards.

The Galveston, Texas, native replaced Chief Warrant Officer 5 Michael J. Wichterman, who is retiring.
