A military child enjoys Military Appreciation Night Feb. 8 at the i-wireless Center in Moline, Ill. Thousands of hockey fans attended to see Sgt. 1st Class Matthew Favory, Army Sustainment Command, drop the honorary puck to begin the Central Hockey League battle between the Quad City Mallards and the Bloomington Blaze. The Mallards won 9-6. Favory was recently inducted into the prestigious Sgt. Audie Murphy Club, the first Soldier to be inducted while serving at Rock Island Arsenal. ASC and 1st U.S. Army provided display booths for fans to visit during intermissions. The Army Sustainment Command supports United States and coalition forces around the globe.
