GRAFENWOEHR, Germany -- FOX Sports & Major League Baseball will present "Spring Training to the Troops," here, Feb. 5-7, as several MLB players, including David Justice of the Atlanta Braves and Hall of Famer Wade Boggs, spend a few days with Soldiers and their families and take an intimate look inside the day-to-day life of Soldiers within the garrison.

As a result of a change in the players' schedule, community members are invited to attend two events: a youth baseball clinic, Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 4-6 p.m. at the Grafenwoehr Fieldhouse; and a wiffle ball competition between Soldiers from the 709th Military Police Battalion and 172nd Infantry Brigade at the Grafenwoehr Physical Fitness Center, Feb. 6, from 2-4 p.m.

Parents can register their children via webtrac at https://webtrac.mwr.army.mil/webtrac/Grafenwoehrcyms.html, or at the event starting at 3 p.m. Registration will be limited to the first 100 children.

During the three-day visit, athletes will train alongside Soldiers, pass on their knowledge during a youth baseball clinic, talk sports with high school students, mingle with spouses and visit Warrior Transition Unit Soldiers.

Attendees include: Luke Gregerson (Padres), Heath Bell (Diamondbacks), Tim Salmon (Former player, FOX Sports West, Angels), Orestes Destrade (Former player, FOX Sports Florida), Mario Impemba (Announcer, FOX Sports Detroit), Brian Schneider (Nationals, Expos, Phillies), Jose Tolentino (Former player, Announcer FOX Deportes and Angels), Bob Brenly (Diamondbacks announcer, former player and coach), Wade Boggs (Yankees, Red Sox, Hall of Famer), Rollie Fingers (Brewers, Hall of Famer), Jack Ensch, Director of Military Affairs, Arizona Diamondbacks, and FOX Sports Girls representing each FOX Sports region.
