Lt. Col. Shawn Creamer, the "Manchu" commander of the 2-9th Infantry, congratulated President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden at the start of their second term in office.

"On behalf of the 28,500 service members and their families of United States Forces Korea, Eighth Army and 2nd Infantry Division, we want to congratulate you and the president on your second inauguration," said Creamer, a native of Hubertus, Wis.

In a show of alliance solidarity, Creamer was joined by Republic of Korea, or ROK, Army Col. "We all know that for the last 60 years the ROK and U.S. alliance has been a solid foundation for the peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula."
