Our Best Nothing Less for the Warfighter
Looking to meet a very short deadline until their next training cycle in May, the 1st Cavalry, Fort Hood, TX called upon the expertise of Red River Army Depot to perform critical reset to their six HMMWV ambulances prior to 30 April. Red River answered the call. The ambulances were inducted into disassembly on 14 April to a recapitalization scope of work and were completed 28 April. The trucks were delivered to Fort Hood 30 April. Right on time. "Great job on this one-just another example of your ability to execute at a moments notice to support the requirements of our Soldiers in the field, said Brian D. Butler, TACOM-LCMC, director for program management, workload and analysis. "This is just more proof that our dedicated, patriotic workforce will do whatever it takes to support the Warfighter," said Paul Addington, RRAD deputy commander.
