BACH observes Martin Luther King Jr. birthday, limited services available

FT. CAMPBELL, Ky. -- In honor of the national observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) personnel will observe the federal holiday Monday, Jan. 21, therefore all clinics and pharmacies will be closed. The Emergency Centers and Urgent Care Clinic will remain open to provide acute and emergency medical care.

Limited services Friday, Jan. 18

Some patient services will be condensed during a Day of No Scheduled Activities (DONSA) Friday, Jan. 18. Active duty service members will be able to schedule Same Day Appointments for Friday by calling the Call Center at (270) 798-4677 or (931) 431-4677 beginning at 6 a.m. All active duty service members will be seen from 7 a.m. to noon at LaPointe Health Clinic, regardless of their clinic assignment. All other patients with appointments scheduled for Friday will be seen in their assigned clinics, including those scheduled for the Byrd Family Clinic and the Screaming Eagle Medical Home.

BACH's Call Center will be staffed from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. to schedule or cancel appointments. Appointments may also be scheduled or canceled 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.TRICAREonline.com. Some medical concerns may be treated by telephone consult by contacting the Call Center at (270) 798-4677 or (931) 431-4677.

The Main Pharmacy within the hospital will be closed Friday, Jan. 18; however the Town Center Pharmacy will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To ensure all prescriptions can be filled, the last pharmacy window ticket will be given at 4:45 p.m.
