BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Five Soldiers who deployed with the Logistics Civil Assistance Program received end of tour awards Jan. 6 during a ceremony hosted by Col. Mark Paget, commander, 401st Army Field Support Brigade.

Col. Gary Rangel, Lt. Col. William Martin, Maj. Edelmiro Escobedo, and Sgt. Maj. Joseph Carretero were awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Capt. Martin Louis was awarded an Army Commendation Medal.

They also received the Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the Non-Article 5 NATO Medal.

In theater, LOGCAP falls under the 401st AFSB and is the Army's premier capability to support global contingencies by leveraging corporate assets to augment Army current and programmed sustainment force structure.
