ASC employee receives prestigious Meritorious Civilian Service Award

D. Scott Welker, deputy to the commander, Army Sustainment Command, congratulates Tommy L. Marks, then executive director of LOGCAP, after Marks was awarded the Meritorious Civilian Service Award Oct. 31 for his accomplishments from 2007 to 2012 with ASC. Marks' last day with ASC was Nov. 1 and he will now move to Washington, D.C., for his new position with the Department of the Army headquarters -- executive director for Acquisition Services, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Procurement.
