Each year, Army proponents, as well as individuals, are commended for their accident prevention efforts and as safety-minded service via recognition through the Army Safety Program.

This year the Army Materiel Command was awarded the SA and CSA Army Headquarters Safety Award. An

AMC employee is also a recipient. The SA and CSA Individual Award of Excellence in Safety - Civilian is awarded to Douglas Day, Radford Army Ammunition Plant, Va.
