Headquartered at Wheeler Army Airfield, the 30th Signal Battallion is the Network Enterprise Center for Army units in Hawaii serving 10,000 plus customers. The Battalion supports Hawaii-based units and organizations within the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) and the United States Army Garrison-Hawaii (USAG-HI). The 30th is one of five signal battalions in the 516th Signal Brigade that support the Army Pacific theater in Hawaii and other regions to include Alaska, mainland Japan, and Okinawa, Japan. The 30th Signal Battalion's motto is "Voice of Hawaii."

Mission Statement: Provide and defend the Hawaii-Pacific LandWarNet, Information System (IS)/ Information Management (IM) operational base services, Information System (IS) and Information Management (IM) capabilities in support of Joint, Combined and Army forces, enabling battle command and information superiority to the Warfighter.

Vision Statement: The 30th Signal Battalion's (Network Enterprise Center's) vision is, "A proud and patriotic civilian-military organization that is recognized for its unrivaled customer service, signal support and teamwork. The Army's premier signal battalion that provides world class enterprise-level services, is innovative and embraces new technologies, provides extraordinary intra- and inter-theater communications, supports both power projection and command and control requirements from the Warfighter to the National Command Authority, is recognized as the most dependable segment of the Pacific LandWarNet Backbone, and transforms to establish the first consolidated help desk (CHD) and Area Processing Center (APC) for the Army Pacific in alignment with the Enterprise Service Center (ESC) and the Army Global Network Construct (GNEC)."
