REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - The lengthy career of one U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command employee came to a close Sept. 21 in a ceremony among family and friends.

John Davis, intelligence specialist, retired at the command's Redstone Arsenal location after 37 years of service. During his ceremony, Davis was presented with the Superior Civilian Service Award, a certificate of appreciation, certificate of retirement and a 3-star note.
