REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - Representatives from Fox Army Health Clinic visited the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command Sept. 25 to ensure Soldiers received their flu vaccine.
Maj. Debra Murray, chief of Preventive Medicine, and Sgt. Jerome Cone, medic, administered doses by both the shot and the nasal mist.
Here is the Fox Army Health Center 2012 flu shot schedule:
Active Duty (A/D), National Guard, Reservists (all Services):
Oct. 22 (Mon) 7-10 a.m., Preventive Medicine, Fox Army Health Center
Nov. 6 (Tues) 1:30-3:30 p.m., Preventive Medicine, Fox Army Health Center
Military retirees and their adult family members only -- Retiree Health Fair Sept. 28, 7:30-11:30 a.m. at the Overlook at Redstone Arsenal (Note: this will be a drive thru flu shot event and shots will be administered to adults 17 and older (only)
Tricare Prime beneficiaries (A/D and their family members, military retirres and their family members of all ages) with providers at FAHC will be offered flu shots during scheduled appointments beginning Oct. 1.
All other beneficiaries may receive shots as scheduled:
Oct. 13 (Sat) 7:30-11:30 a.m. at Fox Army Health Center (all ages)
Oct. 26 (Fri) 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Redstone Arsenal Commissary (adults only)
Nov. 7 (Wed) 4-6 p.m. at Fox Army Health Center (all ages)
Nov. 16 (Fri) 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Redstone Arsenal Commissary (adults only)
