HOLLYWOOD (August 10th, 2012) -- Command Sgt. Maj. Richard Lopez, Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion, and Staff Sgt. Jhoana Arraiaga, drill sergeant, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 413th Regiment, 95th Training Division, take the stage to be recognized for their positive representation within the Latino community, during the opening sequence at the 27th Annual Imagen Award at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
The Army Soldiers were invited to participate in the shows opening sequence to personify the diversity of the Latino population and their commitment to excellence, along with nine ohter members of the community.
Here at the 27th Imagen Awards with Fátima Ptacek the voice behind Dora The Explorer and Hector Elizondo from Pretty Woman, and Sgt. 1st Class Duane Brown, film and television liaison for the U.S. Army.
The Imagen Foundation is an entertainment industry partner furthering employment opportunities and positive media images of the Latino community in television and film.
