Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody, former Commanding General, Army Material Command, retires after nearly 38 years in uniform on Summerall Field at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., Aug. 15. Dunwoody is the first woman to serve as a four-star general in both the Army and the U.S. armed forces.
