Honorable Dr. Joseph W. Westphal recently participate in the ground breaking ceremony for the Center Lake and Hillside Elementary schools on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). During his visit to the installation, Dr. Westphal also interacted with leaders, Soldiers and the civilian workforce at JBLM Garrison, I Corps, Madigan Army Medical Center, the Warrior Transition Battalion, Western Regional Medical Command, and the National Center for Telehealth and Technology (T2). He underscored support for the positive direction of JBLM/I Corps and expressed the confidence of Army senior leadership in the JBLM leadership, and in the medical professionals at Madigan Army Medical Center; specifically expressing appreciation for their innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to patient care.
