REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - Col. Bill Whitney, deputy director, Future Warfare Center, retired from the Army with 28 years of service during a ceremony at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters July 10. Whitney received the Legion of Merit during the ceremony. He said he plans to take a few months off and focus on family and he also plans to get more involved in the youth ministry at his church.
