The 2012 Association of the United States Army Mission Command Symposium, Kansas City, Mo. hosted a professional development forum on Mission Command, and kicked off the two-day event which included Gen. Robert W. Cone, commanding general of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command and Lt. Gen. David G. Perkins, commanding general of the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center. The Army leaders discussed partnering with Forces Command (FORSCOM), training leader competencies, the concept of regionally aligned forces and more.
