The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team kicked off a three-game series at the Kiwanis Sports Plex in Huntsville, Ala., May 15 during Armed Forces Celebration Week. The team's first game was against the Team Redstone VIPs which consisted primarily of general officers, colonels and command sergeants major. The WWAST, who were joined by three players from the World Champion University of Alabama women's softball team, won the game by a score of 16-1.
