RED RIVER ARMY DEPOT, Texas - The awards continue for Red River Army Depot as the recent recipient of the 2012 Army Chief of Staff Combined Logistics Excellence Award, depot category.

The CLEA joins the Army Award for Maintenance Excellence, the Deployment Excellence Awards and the Supply Excellence Awards, all of which recognize the best logistics programs in the Army.

In 2010 and 2011, RRAD claimed the runner-up in the same category.

As the winner of the CLEA, RRAD moves on to compete for the Robert T. Mason Award for Depot Maintenance Excellence.

This year's Mason package features the ongoing global support that RRAD provides to the Warfighters. It provides an in-depth look at RRAD's establishment of numerous overseas maintenance and logistics programs, which includes deploying hundreds of "civilian soldiers."

Depot officials will attend the awards banquet and ceremony for the CLEA in early June to accept the honor on behalf of the depot.
