Army logisticians encouraged to attend annual training workshop

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - The Army Materiel Command's Logistics Support Activity will host its annual worldwide logistics training workshop April 21-25 at the Sparkman Center here. This year's workshop will provide presentations, hands-on training, workshops and exhibits on LOGSA products and services.

The theme for this year's workshop is, "Logistics Support on the Move," and will focus on LOGSA's Logistics Information Warehouse and development of the Automated Reset Management Tool, MYRESETPLANS, MyRETROGRADE and MyAOAP. The workshop will also provide training on readiness analysis, asset visibility, major item property management, distribution management, pipeline visibility, maintenance management, supply management, electronic technical manuals, Army oil analysis, and Department of Defense Activity Address Code management.

The Defense Logistics Agency, General Services Administration, Army G-4, TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, Combined Armed Support Command, U.S. Army Force Management Support Agency and other AMC organizations will also provide presentations.

The training is designed for Soldiers in the ranks of E-5 through E-7, warrant officers 1-4, civilians GS-9 to GS-14, and Army contractors. Online registration is now open through April 11 at https://www.logsa.army.mil.
