Anderson, who entered the military on June 24, 1990 as a Private E-1, was promoted to major. He graduated from the Army Physician's Assistant Program as a Commissioned Officer on May 24, 2002. Anderson will have 22 years of service in June. During the ceremony, Anderson, who is the physician assistant at the Arsenal's occupational health clinic had to renew his Oath as a Commissioned Officer since he is being promoted to a Field Grade Officer. His wife, Melissa, and daughter, Tiffani, pinned his new rank during the ceremony. Anderson and his family are scheduled to move to Fort Sill, Okla., this summer where he will take over as the new Phase II coordinator of the Interservice Physician Assistant Program.
