Mr. Mark D. Gregory
Director, Technical Management Division
U.S. Army Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4) Product Management Office
Mark D. Gregory is the chief technology officer for Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4), an Army acquisition program responsible for the integration, fielding, training and sustainment of the most comprehensive, medical information system on the battlefield. The family of systems enables the lifelong electronic medical record (EMR) for deployed Service members, streamlined medical logistics (MEDLOG) and enhanced situational awareness for Army operational forces.
Mr. Gregory leads all testing, integration and functional assessments of new and emerging military health information technology capabilities delivered to operational forces. He has deployed six times to theater (Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar and Afghanistan) to directly oversee the successful implementation of new technologies that have enabled commanders and medical forces to better capture and manage medical information, and improve decision-making on the frontlines.
His contributions to Army medicine have allowed MC4 to rapidly deliver new telehealth and traumatic brain injury recording capabilities to Soldiers, improve customer support and ensure greater efficiencies via better buying power initiatives. To date, MC4 has enabled the capture of more than 17 million electronic patient encounters in the combat zone, resulting in better continuity
