Westphal visits West Point, USMAPS
During a tour of the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School, Commandant Col. Tyge Rugenstein shows the Honorable Dr. Joseph Westphal, Under Secretary of the Army, the trophy USMAPS earned in 2011 during the Army-Navy Prep Game. The trophy is named after Marine Corps 1st Lt. Frank S. Reasoner, who received a posthumous Medal of Honor for his service in Vietnam. Reasoner was killed in action at the age of 27 in July 1965.

The Honorable Dr. Joseph Westphal, Under Secretary of the Army, met with the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School Commandant Col. Tyge Rugenstein for a tour of the new facilities Feb. 28. Westphal asked questions regarding entrance eligibility, facility capabilities, academics and graduation. Earlier in the day he toured West Point, met with key leaders and visited the academy's centers of excellence to assess future Army and academy requirements.
