Top U.S. Army leaders meet on Yongsan Garrison
Eighth Army leaders prepare to meet with Army officials by video teleconference Jan. 18.

YONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea - Senior U.S. Army leaders discussed the readiness of U.S. Army forces in Korea Jan. 18 - 19 as the U.S. military shifts its focus to the Asia Pacific region.

Meeting by video teleconference and in person on Yongsan Garrison, U.S. Army officials from Eighth Army, Army Forces Command, Army Pacific and the Department of the Army participated in the meeting.

Eighth Army is transforming to a deployable, combined and joint warfighting headquarters, capable of commanding multinational corps-level combat forces.
