Events remember Martin Luther King Jr.

The 470th Military Intelligence Brigade's salute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will take place between 10 and 11 a.m. Jan. 11 in the brigade classroom. Oliver Hill, of the NAACP's San Antonio chapter, will address those in attendance. For more information, contact Sgt. 1st Class Robert Snyder at 295-6800.

The Fort Sam Houston community will hold a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Installation Management Command Theater (Bldg. 2427). Keynote speaker will be James C. Abney, director of IMCOM's morale, welfare, recreation and family programs.

Highlights of the post-wide event include performances by the Robert G. Cole High School Choir and the recitition of the "I Have a Dream" speech by a special guest. For more information, call 466-0398.
