A C-130J Hercules from the 146th Airlift Wing, California Air National Guard, drops water to flush out their Modular Airborne Firefighting System near Abilene Regional Airport, Abilene, Texas, May 5. MAFFS is capable of dispensing 3,000 gallons of water or fire retardant in under 5 seconds. MAFFS operations are preparing to shutdown until they are needed again.
