  • FORT LEE, Va. -- The Logistics Branch insignia is a combination of all the elements of the basic functions and demonstrates unity in purpose. The insignia consists of a diagonally crossed key and cannon, surrounded by a ship's steering wheel with a stylized star in the middle. The key represents supply (Quartermaster), the cannon represents maintenance and munitions (Ordnance), the ship's steering wheel represents movement (Transportation) and the star in the center represents the unity and integration of all of these functions. The Logistics Branch motto is in Latin on the steering wheel. "Sustinendum Victoriam" means "Sustaining Victory."
