ESPN is broadcasting "SportsNation" live from Whipple Field at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall on Tuesday 8 November at 5:00pm in celebration of Veterans Day!

"SportsNation" is an hour long sports-centered show on ESPN that feeds off of audience interaction. It is a high energy show driven by the crowd. All Soldiers, family members, and workforce personnel are invited to attend and participate as audience members.

Arrive at Whipple Field by 4:30 p.m. Team flags, pennants, towels and signs are encouraged. Military uniform is ACU w/softcap. Civilians are encouraged to wear team shirts.

3rd Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), The U.S. Army Band and Army Air Operations Group Soldiers will participate and perform throughout the live broadcast. Average viewership of "SportsNation" is 1 million viewers. The broadcast is part of the ESPN program "Salute to Our Veterans" held each November. "Salute to our Veterans" is a weeklong tribute to Veterans with ESPN shows broadcasting live on military installations around the world in celebration of Veterans Day.
